Laura is a British based artist focussing on Sporting Art and Landscapes. Her work is inspired by a fulfilling career in the horse racing industry, enabling a deep understanding of her subject.  

 

Laura loves to take her experiences in the sport to portray the energy, movement and raw emotions of a race onto canvas. Achieved by the use of palette knife techniques, loose brush strokes and a bold colour palette. She is building a respectable commission portfolio, having produced work for clients in the UK, America and Australia, including Royal Ascot and Melbourne Cup Winners.

 Recently Laura  has begun to explore Mountainscapes, taking her easel for some Plein Air trips in North Wales.  Her original pieces have been featured in galleries in Cheltenham, Bury St Edmunds and Newmarket.

She is Currently exhibiting with the Art and Horse Racing Gallery in Newmarket.

 ​When not painting or work riding,  Laura will be off in the mountains climbing and hiking, with her studio sidekick, Jack Russell 'Beans'.
